Frequently Asket Questions

Is DCHC similar to Habitat for Humanity?

Although we are similar, there are differences.  Our primary focus is to bring renewal to blocks or neighborhoods designated for improvement, so most of DCHC’s work involves repairing and beautifying the exterior of homes by painting, repairing porches and landscaping.  Habitat focuses on building single-family dwellings.
