Volunteer Work Days

Volunteer groups, ranging in size from five to 125 and including volunteers aged five to 85, are invited to participate in our mission by setting up a DCHC Work Day.   We coordinate all aspects of our Work Days, which are scheduled on Saturdays and weekdays throughout the year.  The only requirement is to report wearing work clothes: we organize the day and provide all materials needed.  Most Work Days involve volunteers in improvement projects that can be completed in one day, such as painting home exteriors or fences, repairing porches, landscaping and providing general block cleanup.
